Constantine (1*):  3 to 4 feet

A damp and murky old morning is greeting us this morning, a fresh breeze blowing in some fine rain in the gloom of a more autumnal morning than we’ve seen for a few days.
But that murk and mizzle is already starting to clear as patches of brightness emerge through some fine gaps in the grey.
That fresh south westerly wind is chopping the swell lines making for some sloppy and bumpy, unpredictable four feet or so of junk surf.
I guess that when the weather brightens it might all look a little more appealing but right now it is a gloomy and murky mess out there!

Harlyn (3*):  2 to 3 feet

A couple to three feet of crisp and wind hollowed waves are crashing ashore here this morning, the fresh south westerly breeze blowing offshore and clearing some of the murk and dampness that is clinging to those beaches on the other side of the headland.
This is the place to be at the moment but the forecast is for the wind to veer more westerly while strengthening just a little which will be less kind to those waves.
In the meantime it’s worth grabbing the wax and maybe being a little late for work this morning!

Surf Forecast for Friday 16th June 2017

Light westerly (maybe veering just that degree or two more north westerly) breezes are forecast for today, along with a dropping swell.
But there should be only very light breezes and the waves should stay in the half decent three foot range while that bright and warm weather keeps us happy too!
So an okay day of fun in the sun surfing awaits!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

It does look as though we are in for a pleasant weekend of fine weather and fun surf!
Light, light breezes are set for this weekend, maybe onshore, westerly going north westerly through Saturday but barely noticeable until the sea breezes kick in for a few hours through the afternoon, backing offshore and staying super light through Sunday.
Throw some fun three to four foot surf into the mix, along with loads of summery sunshine and we should have one of those weekends that cheer us all up!
Your biggest decision this weekend is likely to be choosing your favourite surf spot, as those surf breaks light up all the way along the coast!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
