I was treated to a spectacular dawn lightshow as I flitted across Bodmin Moor this morning, the sky that palest of blues, the shimmer of frost in the rolling fields, a light haze of mist clinging to the hedgerows.  It was almost worth being out and about that early!
And on arrival home the beaches were doing it as well, that turquoise sea reflecting the deeper blue of the early morning autumn sky which is riddled and streaked with the rush hour TransAt jet (chem?) streams.
And there’s surf!
A decent couple of feet and bigger of glassy, rolling waves are glittering and glistening in the early morning brightness, the broken waves streaking fluoro-white across those deep blues.
Yep, it is all looking good!
And I’m out of here for a while so no surf reports until next week!

It is absolutely gorgeous here this morning, that sunshine blasting down the valley and highlighting the deep blue, tranquil sea.
But it is pretty much flat too.
Barely knee high little, twitchy wavelets are shuddering onto the sand, tired looking and, well, small.
The other side is the place to go today, i looks like small wave fun-in-the-sun over there!

Surf Forecast for Saturday 18th November 2017

Light onshore breezes are likely to be ruffling a couple of fete of otherwise fun surf today and although it might not be the wall-to-wall sunshine of Friday, it should still be calm and pleasant enough!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Calm breezes, some sunshine and pleasant days but with only small waves are promised all weekend.
One to two feet of shimmering and peeling little waves are expected through Saturday and into Sunday and then on into the start of the week.
It is going to be only small but conditions should still make it all very appealing. You might want to be thinking of a longboard, or a thick funboard or fish for this weekend but whatever you’re riding you should have some fun gliding across those knee high peelers!
I’m away for the weekend but Charlie should be opening up Friday till Monday 10 till 5 for everything you might want and a few bargains too!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
