It’s a little fresher today, still beautiful, warm, dry and clear but with just a little cloud cover making for a lighter, fresher feel to the air.
Which is good news for all the guys setting off for London by bicycle this morning!
The Milligan Charitable Bike Ride is leaving Trevose Golf Club at 10 this morning to cycle 300 miles to the big smoke and raising a whole heap of money for various charities on their way. There’s more info at www.milliganbikeride.com.
Good luck to all of them, that is one long bike ride!
Meanwhile back at Constantine, the surf is flat, properly, ripplelessly, surflessly, flat!
And it’s International Surfing Day too!
Ah well, maybe a quick SUP session will count?
With no sign of any swell imminent we can only sit back and enjoy the sunshine!

TGCBike

Cyclists getting ready to hit the road to London from Trevose Golf Club. Good luck to all of you!

We have received our Pukas ’Inspiration Project’ Ts featuring an image of Toby (Donachie) taken by Cheyne and put together by those fine artisans at Pukas in Spain (they’re the guys that make boards for Mr Gabriel Medina) and they’re on the rails now!
Actually we have loads of new stuff hanging on the rails ready for this Summer’s visitors:
Summer wetsuits from O’Neill, Xcel and Alder are hanging alongside surf accessories from FCS and O&E while Reef flip flops are sat next to Vans beach and skate shoes. The newly launched Vissla range of clothes are alongside rails of Brixton Mfg, Captain Fin Co, Reef, Lost, Coastees and the newly inPassenger range as well as our our own Shop logo’d garments.
We have sunglasses from Bolle, Ray Ban and now the brand new dBlanc (and how great are they!) as well as EightyEight and Vision.
Time for a new board for Summer?
Then take your pick from our wide range of boards. We have longboards, short board, fun boards, soft boards, finless boards and all sorts! Al Merrick, Haydenshapes, Meyerhoffer, Sol Life, …Lost, Beach Beat, Hawaiian Soul and Webber, we should have something to suit!
And if we haven’t got it, we can get it!
So, drop in on us this weekend if you’re around the area!!

No, it’s still flat around here this morning too.
And there’s no sign of any improvement expected any time soon!

Surf Forecast for Saturday 21st June 2014

It is looking as flat as flat can be again today.
We can have fun in this fantastic weather but it’s not going to be surfy fun.
It looks like paddle time. Time to explore this wonderful coastline of ours, by boat or board or foot.
But you can leave the surfboard at home today!

Pressure200614

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

That high pressure system looks like it’s quite happy to continue to straddle us for some time to come, maybe shuffling to the west just a little but still providing more calm and settled conditions for the foreseeable!
The surf is likely to remain small at best, probably going completely flat throughout the weekend. Especially as those already high low pressure systems are filling out as they approach.
We will be lucky to find any waves to ride this weekend, maybe into the start of next week or maybe even longer!
Longboards and SUPs are suddenly in demand as these calm conditions retain control, our only hope being that it is so calm that any activity out in the Atlantic will produce some swell.
It is going to be a period of beautiful weather but very little in the way of surf!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
