At 7.50 a.m:

Constantine (0*):  Flat.

A brighter, lighter sky is cheering us up this morning, the breeze brisk, still offshore and still chilly, gusting in from the east north east.
Unfortunately though, the surf is flat.
Really flat.
We are going to have to find one of those swell magnet corners, just at the right stage of the incoming tide and even then it’s likely to be no more than knee to waist high if we’re lucky. But the shape might just make it worthwhile to have a lighter, brighter glide of a surf!
Maybe.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat.

It’s flat around here again this morning, flat and choppy too!
The breeze is gusting straight in from the north east again this morning, making for sloppy and choppy little ripples but with nothing that you could surf on.
No, it’s flat enough on the other side, the only difference is that it’s choppy as well here!

Today’s Tide Times:

Surf Forecast for Saturday 26th November 2016

The breeze is likely to stay offshore today, still from the east north east and so still chilly but shaping those little waves into something maybe more attractive than they might be!
But the swell is likely to remain tiny, a foot at best. But hopefully a bright and cheery and prettily shaped foot of peeling surf, if you pick the right time and the right place!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

With only a tiny piece of luck we could be enjoying a fun and pretty weekend of small but beautifully shaped surf!
The winds are set to continue to blow easterly, offshore, all weekend but easing in strength as we go along too.
So, Saturday might show some knee to hip high, offshore sculpted little peelers while Sunday should attract just a little more size.
Throw some stretches of cheery winter sunshine into the mix and suddenly we could be having ourselves a fun few days of sliding and gliding in those relatively still quite warm waters. Or maybe it’s best to say that the water is nowhere near as cold as it is going to be!
And the St. Merryn Christmas Fayre is on this weekend in the Parish Hall and that’s always a great one as well!!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
