Constantine (2*):  2 feet

A thick and heavy but somehow cosy blanket of mizzle and drizzle is surrounding us again this morning, the air a dense dampness of wet, the breeze just starting to strengthen but the temperature fairly mild (compared to the last few days!).
So it’s not really a beach day as such but there are little waves shuffling into the bay, even offering a hint as to the return of the fabled high tide break of HTC!
A couple of feet of sloppy and lumpy surf is shuffling onto those shallower parts of the bay in an effort to break with some purpose, that breeze gradually becoming a south westerly, onshore, wind.
That wind should ease back agin by this afternoon and the skies are forecast to clear eventually too, maybe allowing this afternoon to be a little better than this morning!

Harlyn (0*):  0 to 1 foot

A pretty little wave is trying to break here at high tide this morning but there’s just not enough energy in those tiny swells to get all the way into the bay.
The breeze is offshore and light and so not yet moving that damp wall of mizzle but it is smoothing the sea nicely.
It is pretty but there’s not much to surf on here today!

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 22nd August 2017

Finally that summer sun might just be unleashed, allowing some fine and warm weather, while a half decent couple of feet of swell rolls in against a light offshore breeze!
It might only be a day but we should enjoy a day of fun surf and fine weather!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Light breezes should allow some pleasant summer sunshine through this week, the wind being forecast to be no more than a light breeze all the way through the week. By Tuesday we might even see some bright, bright sunshine with a light offshore breeze along with a couple of feet or so of curling glass waves too!
And that couple of feet or so of fun little surf should keep rolling our way all through this coming week, the weather being a bit better than it has been, the surf being enough to keep most of us happy!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
