Constantine (1*):  3 to 4 feet

We’ll be lucky to escape a downpour or two today but this lightly blustery and breezy, threatening morning is nowhere near as bad as the forecasts have been making out either!
Three feet and just occasionally bigger of lightly slopped and chopped but quite fun looking waves are pushing their way through that autumn blue sea this morning, maybe promising something just a bit better for later.
Maybe.

Harlyn (0*):  2 feet

A foot or two of wind slopped, chopped and junky surf is washing onto the beach, that north westerly wind making a mess of any hopes for a fun surf here today.
And as the wind eases today, the wave size will drop too leaving little hope for any improvement in conditions here today!
So it’s over to the other side of the headland for some choppy three foot surfing fun there!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 13th August 2017

We should enjoy a bit of a windshift today with only a light south westerly breeze expected to blow some milder air our way as well as strengthening the couple of feet or so of fairly sloppy surf.
That wind should stay calm for most of the day allowing some pleasant weather to filter through while also making for not too sloppy surf conditions.
Yep, it should end up being an okay day for some fun surf at the beach!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

The winds should gradually ease as we go into this weekend, the fresh north westerlies of Saturday morning calming to a breeze by the afternoon and remaining calm as we go through Sunday.
Those breezes are still going to be onshore though, north westerly through Saturday, slipping south westerly through Sunday.
With only localised, residual windswells wandering into the bays, it’s not looking like an exceptional weekend for surf but there should be enough around to tempt us in and will probably end up being quite a bit better than we were hoping for.
The same goes for the weather, it’s not promising too much but it should turn out to be way better than we were expecting!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
