Constantine (3*):  3 feet.

It’s all a bit bright and breezier this morning with big dollops of creamy clouds drifting across the horizons.
The surf has picked up alongside the breeze allowing three feet or so of lightly ruffled and warpy looking but lined up and just occasionally hollow waves to march shorewards.
We should enjoy some fun waves on the dropping tide, with the wind forecast to stay fresh and mainly sideshoreish hopefully easing just a little more offshoreish through the afternoon. And that swell should increase a little in size as the day rolls on too!

Harlyn (2*):  1 to 2 feet.

If you pause only briefly on the bridge while driving by the bay then you will probably think that it’s flat here today but stop for just a moment or two longer and you’ll see those sets of little waves slip around the headland and slide onto the sand.
A foot or two of clean and sparkling little waves are snappily crashing ashore on the dropping tide, probably only weakening with that tide before improving on this afternoon’s tide. And you have to wait for them, there’s a long, long gap between those sets of small waves but with a little patience you’ll find some snappy little gliders!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 16th October 2016

A south westerly wind plus a three to four foot swell forms the simplest of equations and results in a couple of fun sessions at Harlyn.
Bigger on the pushing tides, smaller on the drop, but hollow all the way through, we should be enjoying a typical breezy and sunny and showery Sunday of Harlyn dumpster diving!!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A three to four feet and building swell is likely to be rolling our way throughout the weekend, the wind settling from the south through Saturday backing south westerly through Sunday.
Our main surf breaks should be fun, if a little bumpy through Saturday with a good chance of Harlyn strutting its hollow stuff through Sunday!
The weather is likely to be milder but damper throughout, not that beautiful settled stuff that we have all been enjoying but not too bad either.
Yep, it looks like a weekend of fun surf ahead of us!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
