The sun is shining, the birds are singing, a couple of feet of fairly weak looking and close-fetch but prettily shaped surf is peaking in the right places, so #gosurfnow!
Well, actually, you might want to give it an hour or two ‘till the tide sorts itself out.
The wind has eased and backed to the north north east though and it feels like it has settled quite nicely there for a little while anyway.
Now all I need is a little bit of internet connection and I can get my work done allowing me some surfy time!

A foot or so of tidal drained and warped, weak looking little waves are struggling to clamber ashore here this morning. It’s not a huge tide but the outflow is ribbing those little waves.
It’s the other side for a surf today, it is only small over there but at least it has some shape to it.
Yep, it’s shaping up to be a very pleasant day but not for surfing here!

Surf Forecast for Monday 18th September 2017

And back to north westerly goes the wind!
Hopefully it won’t strengthen to much more than a breeze but it is still likely to be an onshore breeze! So we should be enjoying a couple of feet or so of weak and sloppy, crumbly little surf on a bright enough day.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

The wind is likely to have lightened a lot as we go into this week, and the skies should be brighter too allowing some pleasant beach time for those with the time!
The breezes are likely to blow more from the south and west throughout week, a milder direction than that annoying north westerly that we have been enjoying so much lately and it should help to support just a little more swell as it rolls our way.
So the start of the week should see us surfing a couple of feet of crumbly, onshore surf at the main breaks in some moments pleasant late-summer sunshine before seeing a little push in the swell through midweek.
Yep, it should end up being a fun week of pleasant surf!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
