Constantine (2*):  2 to 3 feet

It’s a mizzly, drizzly, grizzly old day today, the wind has dropped to a sulky breeze, the sky is heavy with dampness and the 14 deg C air temperature is just about okay.
A couple to three feet of directionless surf is wandering casually into the bay this morning with no real focus, one guy out making the most of those otherwise sloppy and weak looking little waves.
The tide is a couple of hours out on the drop so that’s not helping and the south westerly (onshore) breeze is forecast to back to the south and maybe almost south easterly (offshore) as it calms even more.
So don’t write it off today, we could just be enjoying some fun peaks by this afternoon, gliding across a couple of feet of glassy surf by this evening, maybe.

Harlyn (1*):  1 to 2 feet

A foot of glassy but weak and crumbling little waves are stumbling ashore here this morning, a beaut of a yacht providing more interest as a backdrop than the otherwise grey mizzle of a late summer Sunday. Those little waves should become more solid on this afternoon’s tide and might sharpen up a bit too but the other side of the headland will be getting that extra bit of size and with the wind forecast to clean up over there too.
So that is probably the place to go on the afternoon tide.

Surf Forecast for Monday 21st August 2017

We should be enjoying a brighter and cheerier start to this week with a couple to three feet of fairly clean surf to drift about on.
The breeze is likely to be light and from the south west, onshore at our main surf breaks but hopefully light enough to allow that surf to be fairly glassy and clean enough.
It could just end up being a fun day again today!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Light breezes should allow some pleasant summer sunshine through this week, the wind being forecast to be no more than a light breeze all the way through the week. By Tuesday we might even see some bright, bright sunshine with a light offshore breeze along with a couple of feet or so of curling glass waves too!
And that couple of feet or so of fun little surf should keep rolling our way all through this coming week, the weather being a bit better than it has been, the surf being enough to keep most of us happy!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
