At 7.50 a.m:

Constantine (2*):  3 feet.

We are enjoying a bit of a dull and dreary one here this Sunday morning but it is mild and the wind has eased off to a gentle south westerly breeze while the showers have eased up too.
Three feet or so of ruffled and bumpyish surf is wandering casually into the bay this morning, the odd section throwing out more than you would expect but otherwise just a little fat and wobbly around the edges.
The tide is backing out and so those waves should become a little snappier as they drop onto that shallow bar.
And then we might just see some improvement on this afternoon’s rising tide as well.
Maybe!

Harlyn (2*):  2 feet.

A couple of feet of quite glassy and smooth little waves are shuffling ashore here this morning, all small and inconsistent but pretty as well.
The size is likely to diminish just a little as the tide drops out but then it is likely to increase again on the afternoon rise.
If you want some small and playful, fun looking little waves to play in then here’s the place for you today!

Today’s Tide Times:

Surf Forecast for Monday 30th January 2017

That south westerly wind will have strengthened through the night, just a little but enough to chop and slop our main surf breaks.
So we can probably expect another small but playful session or two in clean and snappy Harlyn today, bigger on the afternoon pushing tide but still not much more than a foot or two.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Strengthening onshore winds are going to be blowing our way all the way through this week and some big and building swells are going to be blasting in too!
So the couple to three feet and building swell at the start of the week will quickly double and treble in size as we go along, blown in by strong gusting sou’ westers, those waves ending up in the ‘huge’ size range by the end of the week!
It’s looking like a wild and wet, blustery week ahead culminating in a stormy weekend, so take it easy!
Have a great week though, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
