Constantine (3*):  1 to 2 feet.

A deeper frost has taken hold this morning but the sky is blue, that pale, pale blue of winter and the sun is exploding over the far horizon once again, the air still and sharp and crisp and fresh.
And the surf is a little bigger than expected too!
A foot or two of pristine, glass sculpted little peelers are reeling across those neatly shaped little sandbars as the tide gently eases off high.
It looks like another fabulous day ahead and, guess what?
Yep, the Padstow Christmas Festival (www.padstowchristmasfestival.co.uk) is kicking off today and with pretty much every top chef in the UK hurling their skillets around town, we won’t be going hungry this weekend!

Another awesomely atmospheric scene is greeting us here this morning, the sea mist clinging to the almost surf as the tide slips back slowly.
Another golden dawn is exploding down the valley, front lighting tiny little and immaculately shaped little waves, almost surfable but not.
It is beautiful but the other side of the headland is the place to go for a surf again today!

Surf Forecast for Friday 2nd December 2016

….and on it goes!
Another fabulous day of gentle offshores, calm winter weather and some slightly bigger, more solid and perfectly shaped surf.
I think that it is safe to say that we can expect a decent couple of feet of clean and glassy, fun surf all day long!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

High Pressure continues to dominate all the way through the weekend and so the wind should remain light and offshore, maybe strengthening a little through Sunday.
And so the surf isn’t going to be as big as we might like it to be but then that should be made up for in shape and style and beauty.
Sunday might just end up being titchy, tiny, teeny, weeny though!
Other than that, it looks as though we are in for a fabulous weekend weatherwise, maybe a little more overcast on Saturday but generally that crisp and fresh winter weather that we didn’t see too much of last winter but have been loving all week long.
And don’t forget that the Padstow Christmas Festival (www.padstowchristmasfestival.co.uk) will be rolling along all weekend with more celebrity chefs than you can shake a wok at cooking up a mighty food storm!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
