It’s a damp and breezy old morning and it looks as though it might just stay that way for most of the day too!
The surf is a little junky too, the wind is blowing westerly, a mild but gusting blow, onshore here and making itself felt. That three to four foot swell is being pushed and pulled around the bay, leaving a choppy, grey mess of surf.
the forecast is for the wind to lighten up, so it might just improve on this afternoon’s tide with that strong little swell maybe holding a bit more shape.

The wind is getting in here at high tide too.
There’s a foot or two of sloppy and choppy little waves washing ashore just off high tide.
But the wind is forecast to ease back and the swell should continue to be small but solid, so it could just be okay on this afternoon’s tide!

Surf Forecast for Friday 30th October 2015

It could be good today, in fact it could be really good!
The swell is likely to have a bit of a boost to it by morning, a thick and solid five to six feet of long wave-period stuff is likely to be marching our way hopefully being groomed by light offshore breezes, a light south easterly arriving overnight.
Throw some brighter weather into the mix and we should be enjoying another fabulous day of surfing!

Surf Conditions for Halloween Weekend

More swell is likely to be advancing our way as the wind calms itself and settles more offshore as the Halloween Weekend approaches.
Friday could start out quite big with a well spaced five to six foot swell powering our way. The wind is likely to have eased overnight and is forecast to ease itself to the south east, offshore at all of our surf breaks locally. And we should see some brighter weather starting to settle too!
The swell is likely to have settled by Saturday, a 10 second 3 foot swell offering some great surf as those still big tides wash in and out before you know it.
And, as the swell increases again and the weather twitches back to something more summery, Sunday is starting to promise some great surf, great conditions and great weather!
So, have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
