Well we have been expecting it and here it is!
A bright and sunny already warm day is acting as the bluest of blue backdrops to some gorgeous surf. Three to five feet of curling and looping, peeling waves are reeling onto the bay, the wind offshore from the south east, the swell arriving in predictable sets of waves.
If you have a surfboard then today is probably the reason why!
Just pick your favourite surf break anywhere along today’s surf drenched coast and enjoy!

There are gorgeous little waves crusing in here this morning too, much smaller than the other side but glassy and clean and snappy.
A foot or two of surf is peaking off the Rock as the tide drops out, so you have to think that it should build at least a little on this afternoon’s incoming tide.
So it is another option if the main surf breaks aren’t doing it for you, or if you just prefer Harlyn!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 1st July 2015

This little run of pleasant weather and surf could just peak today with much bigger surf, really very warm weather but maybe more onshore winds.
It has been a case of the early risers catching the best waves this week so far and that is going to apply more so today. There should be little or no wind first thing, followed by the sea breezes of late morning becoming quite fresh and very onshore through the afternoon, glassing off again late in the evening.
Today could really be very good if you find just the right place at just the right time!
Enjoy!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Light winds and clear, clear sunshine are expected this week with some really very pleasant surf too!
If you have been saving yourself for that special summer occasion then this week could be the time to slip on down to the sea!
After a slow start through Monday, those onshore winds should ease as the sky clears and temperatures start to increase.
By Tuesday we should be enjoying some very pleasant surf conditions with clearing skies and burning sunshine accompanying light offshore breezes and some solid and very fun surf. That swell should increase to twice or three times the size by Wednesday morning, the winds staying light and maybe being kind to Harlyn and other sheltered spots.
It could all just get very good indeed this week!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
