Another fog filled morning is cosying up to us this Whit Sunday, muffling the birdsong and blanketing the swoosh of those little waves.
The surf is real small; a foot or so of weak and wishy washy, close together stuff washing onto the sand, just about rideable but probably best on a longboard. The wind is light and steady, onshore from the west south west, not strong enough to move this fog but with enough strength to slop the surf a bit.
It might be mid afternoon before the sun finally penetrates this murk, so there’s no need to rush.
You might want to take it easy and maybe have a lazy, snuggly one this morning!

It’s as flat as around here this morning, tiny ripples of frustration washing around and into the bay, cleaner than they have been for a while but flat.
The fog is still clinging too, making it a foolhardy place to paddle this morning.
No, it’s the other side of the headland if you want to get a board on the water today!

Surf Forecast for Holiday Monday 25th May 2015

We should be enjoying a bright and cheery one this holiday Monday but the surf is very unlikely to be all that.
We might luck into a few longboard gliders for moments when the tide hits a shallower spot but otherwise we could be gazing at some choppy flatness until the afternoon.
By then there should be some shin to hip high and onshore little waves to ride.
But that bright sunshine should help to ease the pain.

Surf Conditions for the Holiday Weekend

The holiday weekend is looking promising with some bright enough and pleasant enough weather and that real small and localised but steady little swell continuing throughout.
The wind is probably going to back around to the north west again by Sunday and stay there for at least a few days but it should stay relatively light, strengthening through the afternoons, easing into the evenings.
Sunday is likely to start off a bit damp and dreary and probably foggy but again should brighten up by mid afternoon and stay bright all the way through Bank Holiday Monday.
So a lazy weekend of small but fun surf but generally okay weather awaits!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
