Water Temperature: 11.2 degC (about 52 ish F). We hope to be able to report on the actual surf conditions each or most mornings and try to predict the next day's conditions. If we don't then the conditions are that bad (or good?). Our scale for measuring conditions is the universal one; 1ft (barely rideable - your choice), 2-3ft (hip to shoulder height when trimming across the wave), 3-4ft (head high and great), 4-5ft (that little bit bigger), 6ft (very rare - well overhead), 8ft (rarely gets bigger in this country but has been known), 10ft (very rarely rideable in this country only a few breaks can hold this size) 12ft + (get yer jet ski, yer big wave gun, kiss yer family and friends good-bye and head for the hills - but I've never seen it this big and rideable in this country)
