Constantine (3*):  4 feet

‘Tis a beautiful day in a very sunny locked down Cornwall today with clear blue skies reflecting on that deep blue sea.
The light easterly breeze is no more than an offshore breath just smoothing the faces of a four foot swell as it curls into the bay.
The surf is fabulous and the weather is gorgeous – it must be ‘lockdown’!

I’ll be dropping the daily ‘Surf Report‘ during Lockdown so as not to inadvertently entice any pesky lockdown-breakers but I will provide a more occasional ‘Beach View‘ every couple of days, just for those who like to see the surf and scenery in the bays.  I’m told that it helps a few who are on the front end of things and those who can’t easily access the coast.

Harlyn (2*):  2 feet

Harlyn is shimmering in that gorgeous dawn sunburst this morning, that warm sea steaming in the much colder air.
And there’s a foot or two of slow moving but quite attractive little surf smoothly gliding through that marine haze.
It is all very tranquil here this morning!

Forecast for Friday 6th November 2020

More lockdown loveliness is scheduled for today with horizon-to-horizon sunshine expected along with light offshore breezes to manicure a pleasant foot or two of swell.

Conditions for the Weekend

South easterly breezes are set to blow lightly against a steady couple of feet of even and smooth little swell all weekend long which is going to be frustrating while lockdown restrictions are in force throughout the Duchy.
But at least the clear and bright, settled weather should help to ease our way through these interesting times.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
