At 6.10 a.m:

Constantine (2*):  3 to 5 feet

A few feet of bouncy and windswept, grey, swirling surf can just be glimpsed through a curtain of mizzle and dampness that is blanketing the bay this morning.
A steady westerly breeze is bringing that clinging wetness in as it chops and slops the weak looking, mixed up surf.
The weather should clear up by mid-morning but the surf isn’t likely got improve much for a while.
Harlyn though, well, let’s have a look-see………

Harlyn (3*):  2 to 3 feet

The breeze is offshore at Harlyn this morning, with two to three feet of smooth faced little crunchers benefitting from that.
Word seems to be out already with a couple of rows already filling in the carpark and all shapes and sizes of surf craft heading out through the sodden gloom and mizzle of another gloomy summer’s morning.

Surf Forecast for Thursday 4th August 2022

Air temperatures are likely to dip today as a north westerly breeze returns to the coast to slop and chop three to four feet of already weak and wishy washy surf.
We should see plenty of sunshine but those media frenzied summer temperatures won’t be returning for a wee while yet!

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

Onshore breezes are going to make for mainly bumpy and lumpy little surf for this coming week, with pleasant enough weather and mild enough air temperatures, the sea temperature knocking on the door of a balmy 19 deg C.
We should be sliding across some fun three foot surf for most of the week, better if you time it well, a bit lumpy and junky if you miss it. And of course those early morning and late evening sessions are likely to be the cleaner ones with lighter breezes being kinder to the mainly small and close together little windswells.
So, all in all, a fairly typical British High Summer’s week of surf and weather wait to be enjoyed!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
