At 7.10 a.m:

Constantine (2*):  2 to 5 feet

The wind is howling as sheets of rain crash across the bays this morning, that noisy sou’ westerly blow pushing four or five feet of lumpy grey waves our way.
It will all brighten up soon enough while that wind eases more westerly, keeping the surf trashy at all of our main surf breaks.

Harlyn (3*):  3 to 4 feet

Harlyn is smooth this morning, that south westerly wind scooting straight offshore to meet some thick and bowling, punchy three foot waves head on.
The set waves are the ones, they are packing a punch while drilling across the sand from the Rock.
But that wind will soon cut across shore, making for sloppier conditions.

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

Beautiful conditions will start this week with light offshore breezes fussing over a pleasant three or four feet of smooth and glassy swell.
A south westerly wind is likely to push our way overnight into Tuesday, pushing a thicker and lumpier, building swell our way while going on to chop and mix those lumpy swells at our main surf breaks.
That wind will be offshore at our sheltered spots like Harlyn though, meeting those same waves head-on to hollow and curve and smooth them into fun and testing surf.
The swell size will peak during midweek with some big waves pumping into Harlyn but, of course, that wind will then ease just too far westerly, making even Harlyn a more bumpy affair.
The wind will soon return to a more sou’ westerly direction though and Harlyn will continue to host some hollow and sharp, grinding waves as they swoop into the bay.
Some good surf is waiting to be ridden over the next few days, if you have the time and equipment.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
