At 6.20 a.m:

Constantine (2*):  3 to 4 feet

Dark and heavy clouds are lumbering slowly across the skyline this morning, calmly propelled by the same light westerly breeze that is slopping out a couple to three feet of grey and close together little surf.
Brightness and dryness are steadily spreading from the other horizon though, maybe promising something a little brighter for later? But that breeze feels settled from the West and so what surf there is is likely to be sloppy and lumpy all day long.

Harlyn (1*):  1 to 2 feet

Small waves are collapsing onto the hardened low tide sand of a dark and brooding but quiet Harlyn Bay this morning.
The breeze is rattling across the bay, just fresh enough to worry the occasional foot or two of chill looking little waves, the wetness of an hour or two ago gradually disappearing.
It should all improve and we could well be bumping along on some fuller waves in brighter sunshine a little later on.

Surf Forecast for Thursday 9th June 2022

More westerly breezes will be bringing mild but inevitably damper weather while continuing to slop the three to four foot swell.
Harlyn is likely to be offering small but cleaner surf conditions, especially ahead of the early afternoon tide. Or, of course, there will always be the option of something bigger but sloppier at our main surf breaks on the other side of the headland.

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

After a slow and calm start to the surfing week we should enjoy some wind-driven swells rolling through this week.
Westerly winds will push through some three to eventually four, maybe even building to five feet of rolling and bumpy swell by the end of the week, offering the option of something smaller but smarter and sharper over at Harlyn or those bigger and bumpier, lumpy waves at Constantine or Booby’s.
And with the water temperatures gradually improving all the time and summer skies cheering us up for most of the week it should be worth planning east least a little bit of Beach time!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
