Constantine (3*):  2 to 3 feet

The sun is shining bright over the north coast of Cornwall again this morning as temperatures rise steadily beneath a clear blue sky.
A couple of feet and bigger of deep blue swells are continuing to roll onto the low tide sandbanks and reefs, smaller than last night but still looking pretty gorgeous.
Another fabulous day awaits!

Forecast for Tuesday 2nd June 2020

We might just feel a comparative nip in the air today as the breeze backs north easterly. Still offshore but a bit chillier than it has been!
Otherwise the sun will continue to shine while only small waves tripping over the shallows.
It’s all starting to change!

Conditions for the Start of the Week

The beautiful weather and clean surf conditions of the weekend are going to roll along happily into the start of this week.
As we see lockdown conditions gradually easing we are likely to see a gradual change in the weather too. The breeze is likely to be cooler as we go towards midweek, a northerly airflow bringing some cold air down the coast.
We might also see some cloud cover appearing by midweek and that is likely to produce a few showers here and there and maybe a little more steady but light rain.
The surf is likely to drop off being only small or tiny for most of the week after a fun start on Monday.
Onshore, north westerly winds will arrive at the end of the week bringing chillier and cloudier weather along with close-fetch, quite localised swells. There should be three to four feet of raggedy surf bumbling our way by the weekend.
So, a mixed week of change should keep us busy as we aim for some kind of normality.
Stay safe, stay happy and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
