It’s big!
Huge and powerful waves are surging into the bay this morning, all dark and dangerous looking, the biggest sets obscuring Bull Rock, while the inbetweenies fake prettiness.
The waves themselves look fun, getting to them looks like a whole heap of trouble!
But there will be some spots along the coast that will be on fire today!

Harlyn (4*):  4 to 6 feet.

Four to six feet of churning and boiling waves are grinding in here this morning.
It was bigger and thicker earlier in the pre-dawn half-light, the dropping Spring tide is definitely having an effect but there are still a whole heap of big and powerful waves grinding in.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 17th December 2016

The madness of yesterday’s huge swells should have calmed and we can expect a really fun three to four feet of clean surf.
The breeze should be light, still offshore from the north east, offering glassyish and clean conditions.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

It is all looking very good indeed for an action packed weekend of screaming surf and gentle weather as high pressure snuggles comfortably over us, that writhing and screaming low pressure angrily pacing the north atlantic, all the while spinning waves all that way down to curl across our shores.
Big Friday’s epicness is likely to quickly dissipate, leaving a more rippable and less intense four to five foot swell, slowly easing down to three to four feet by Sunday.
The breezes are set light and offshore for the entire weekend while that bright, sharp winter sunshine should cheer us all weekend long!
Christmas is coming early for a few as the schools shut down and the bars and restaurants fire up!
The shop is open all weekend and we have loads of great last-minute present offers, so why not drop in on us!
Have a fabulous weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
