Constantine (0*):  15 to 20 feet

The wind is howling and the waves are roaring on a noisy morning down in the bays as Storm Franklin hurls its full force across our coastline, those waves maybe bigger than on the weekend, that wind possibly every bit as strong.
There’s nothing to play in here today and not much chance of anything to come anytime soon.

And we are LOOKING FOR STAFF!
This could be your chance to join or even lead the Constantinesurf team!
Shout if you think you’re good enough:
STORE MANAGER – experienced, capable, used to hardwork and with a passion for the sea!
ASSISTANT MANAGER – this could be seen as a step-up for someone taking a career approach to surf retailing. You would be helping the Store Manager while looking after the rest of the shop crew.
SEASONAL CREW – get your names in quick if you’re looking to join our happy little team this year! We will be looking for full and part-time staff to help out with hire and sales for the coming summer season!
Drop an email to [email protected] to let us know your interest and for the full package of info!
We look forward to meeting you!
(Proud to be a Living Wage Employer).

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 22nd February 2022

The wind is expected to have calmed a whole lot by today, there will still be a fresh onshore, westerly wind blowing but nowhere near as intense as on the weekend.
But if you’re looking for waves to ride, well there won’t be much quality anywhere nearby again today. Harlyn will be our best bet but that will be lumpy and bumpy too.
Maybe a trip to the far coast could bring some rewards though?

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Stormy, onshore winds are going to dominate the headlines again this week as that jet stream tows a bunch more weather systems our way for a good while to come!
So, howling onshores will wreak havoc along our already battered little coastline all week long, the wind veering to north west through midweek and so adding some cold, cold temperatures to the mix.
If you are fit, trained and keen to get amongst it then with a bit of goose chasing around the Duchy, you should find one of those occasionally breaking ‘mysto‘ spots to surf at, you know, one of those breaks that are usually discussed in hushed tones well after the event, usually down a track, across a creek, around a headland and then only at the exact right time of tide with just the right size of swell and a very precise wind direction.
Other than that it will mainly be a week of dodging death defying dumpers at most of our preferred surf spots!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
