Constantine (1*):  1 foot

Wide stretches of blue and pink are layered between the greys of a calm and frosty winter’s dawn across the bays this morning, small waves of glass peeling along the shore.
Yes, the surf is pretty small today, a foot, maybe two on those sets but it is exquisitely shaped by the lightest of offshore breezes.
Drag the longboards out, it will be more fun riding one of those!

I’m out of here for a quick slide across some warmer waves, so no surf report for a week or two but Alex will be at your beck and call if you need any snuggly, warm wetsuits, boots (we got WETTY stock in!!) or gloves from the shop.
Drop in on him – he’d love to see you!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

Harlyn is quiet this morning, one lone swimmer having enjoyed the pinks, blues and greys of a lightly frosted dawn.
There are no waves to ride here today but, as always, it’s still a chill place to stop awhile.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 6th December 2022

Tiny waves, light offshore breezes, the chance of some pleasant sunshine – it could almost be summer!
Except for the single figure air temperature!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

A calm and settled week of light, offshore breezes and small but beautifully clean waves stretches ahead, the air temperature dropping with even a tiny chance of seeing the odd snowflake or two by week’s end.
Generally though, we should be enjoying these calm conditions mainly beneath a canopy of mainly grey, the odd brighter stretch cheering us up through late afternoon if we’re lucky.
Hopefully you will have access to a longboard or foam board to make the most of these conditions, bearing in mind that the water temperature is still a pleasant enough 12 deg C (pleasant – if you have a decent wetsuit that is!), because those waves will be only knee to waist high at most spots and that is if you time it right!
But overall it should end up being fun and rewarding, with gliding opportunities at all of our main surf breaks at the right stage of tide.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
