Constantine (3*):  3 feet

A light south easterly breeze is drifting offshore on another mild and dry, calm and peaceful day down in the bay.
There are some half decent waves grinding in off the reef this morning too with three feet or so of wind hollowed and peeling little runners spinning off the usual breaks.
Yep, it’s all looking good for a morning of fun surf but get on it sooner rather than later, that ind will switch onshore before you know it!

Harlyn (0*):  0 to 1 foot

Harlyn Bay is all calm and peace this morning with barely six inches of sharp and snappy little waves crashing onto the sand.
The breeze is light and offshore and the sky is brightening while the breeze carries the muttering and sniggering of early morning seabirds but there are no waves here to enjoy.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 10th May 2022

West, going sou’ west winds are going to drive a building swell into our bays and coves today with an expected four or five feet of lumpy but close together swell spinning into some fun surf at our more sheltered spots.
So Harlyn is probably going to be the place for most of us today with an expected two or three feet of snappy and crisp surf crunching onto the sand.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Onshore winds are likely to chop and slop the slightly bigger surf at our more popular surf breaks locally this week with south westerly winds blowing in off the Atlantic.
We’re unlikely to see much above the three or four foot size range but at least those waves should be stronger and more consistent than we have seen for a while and midweek should maybe show some bigger surf.
So Harlyn is going to be the surf spot of choice locally this week, those south westerlies being offshore here. And we should see some fun surf spinning through there with enough waves to keep everyone happy, getting bigger through midweek and through the end of the week again too.
So, a bit of a different surf week to the last few with more surf action and a little more mixed weather.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
