At 6.15 a.m:
Constantine (3*): 2 to 3 feet
The deep blue sky of this bright and pleasant morning is gradually being streaked by the fish scale wrapping of dimpled white clouds, an unusual cloud formation that I don’t (yet) know the name of.
And the surf rolls on.
A couple to three feet of immaculately shaped little peelers are spinning ashore, the breeze light and offshore but freshening by the minute.
It looks like the ‘Keybuild’ Surf Team are on it already again and catching a few snappy and zippy looking sliders.
Yep, it’s a morning full of promise with small but very pretty surf to enjoy all along the coast and all day long, maybe.
Don’t forget the sunblock!
Harlyn (0*): Flat
It’s pretty much flat around here this morning and with that offshore (south easterly) wind strengthening quite quickly, a SUP session could be tricky too. But otherwise, as always, it is a beautiful place to be!

Surf Forecast for Saturday 10th July 2015
A westerly, going south westerly wind is expected to steadily blow all day long today. Strong enough to put some chop onto the surf at our preferred surf breaks but keeping things clean at the sheltered spots. Let’s hope that there is enough swell to get into those sheltered spots, there should be but we will have to wait and see how big it gets.
I would expect Harlyn to be a couple of feet or so, clean and fun with enough sunshine to keep all the beachgoers happy.
Surf Conditions for the Weekend
It has been another week of onshores with showers, a consistent three to four foot swell pushing in all along the coast, big bundles of white/grey clouds being ushered along to show a lot of dark as well as some brighter skies too.
Friday is promising to be quite pleasant with light offshores and small but perfectly shaped little swells rolling in all day long under a mainly bright sky which might just c;oud over later on.
By Saturday we should be seeing a new swell and, yes you’ve guessed it, more onshore winds. But those winds are likely to stay westerly or south westerly, which is warmer ad helps the swell too, even if it can be damper.
So we could be surfing Harlyn this weekend, only small but quite clean, or biggish but bumpy Constantine side.
At least we should have a choice!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
Altocumulus clouds. I was admiring them from the water at porthtowan at 6.30am!
