Constantine (0*):  4 to 5 feet

And on it blows, that cold north westerly gusting and huffing, blowing squalls of wetness across the bay and shoving bundles of cloud puffs across the sky.
The surf is junk again, four to five feet of onshore trashed and unpredictable chop, of any interest only to seascape painters and kitesurfers. Which is good because someone is out early (is that Mark?) and demonstrating how much fun you can have if you have a harness.
But for the rest of us it’s not inspiring.
I hear the South Coast calling!

Harlyn (0*):  2 to 3 feet

The wind is screeching in here today as well.
That noisy, cold and irritating north westerly blow is demolishing the two to three feet of battered and torn little surf that has struggled into the bay. No there’s not much to surf here today. We are going to have to head south for some cleaner conditions!

Surf Forecast for Armistice Day, Saturday 11th November 2017

Big waves are going to be battered and trashed by more hard blowing north westerly winds.
Those gale force winds are going to blast into the bays and coves all along this coast making for treacherous conditions everywhere.
The South Coast on the other hand could just be wondrous!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Onshore winds are expected all weekend, that north westerly airflow making itself very much at home.
Our best bet for a better surf is Saturday afternoon when that wind should be quieter and might just drift down more from the north. That should allow those more south facing breaks the chance of cleaning up a lot compared to the last week or two!
But take your time, the wind is likely to be gusting hard in the morning and might just take a while to calm.
The north westerly wind will continue through Sunday but not too strongly, that autumn brightness perhaps making it just a little more appealing.
Light breezes are expected for Monday if you’re thinking of stretching the weekend out, combining with clear skies and some welcome sunshine to make that foot or two swell much more enticing!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
