Constantine (1*):  1 to 2 feet

A steady west nor’ westerly breeze is ruffling and crumbling the lazy foot or two of weak and wishy washy little surf on this grey and slightly damp morning.
But give it a few hours and I’m sure that the sun will eventually barge its way through to lighten and brighten the bays and coves.
The surf is unlikely to improve that much though, so get the longboards out again!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The lightest of light drizzles is just dampening the sand as a steady west nor’ westerly breeze blows into Harlyn this morning chopping the surface of an otherwise flat sea.
There are no waves to ride here today but, as always, it is a peaceful and relaxing place to have a stroll or a murky day swim or a paddle.
Or to just sit and relax!

Surf Forecast for Saturday 18th July 2020

South westerly winds will be pushing some small but surfable windswell our way today, along with some mild summer temperatures and bright and clear skies, eventually.
As the kids wind down at the end of one of the strangest school terms, the beach will be beckoning with wave to play in and some pleasant enough, warm and sunny weather.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Starting out breezy, this weekend should soon quieten down, some low cloud along with plenty of murk and mizzle maybe descending on us through Saturday afternoon and evening.
The surf is likely to be a mixed up and messy foot or two again, that bouncy and unpredictable stuff that is not necessarily attractive but allows you to feel a little better afterwards – if you make the effort to get in that is!
Sunday should be a cheerier day with loads of sunshine but that annoying northerly wind. That wind could twitch a little to the north east though, allowing those small waves to clean up and break with at least a little shape, beckoning the longboarders in for a glide.
So, a mixed weekend but at least providing some surf and a little weather too.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
