Constantine (1*):  1 to 2 feet

You can just see some sunshine lighting on the headland but otherwise it’s a mizzle filled, cosy kind of wet one this morning.
A light west sou’ westerly is fluttering into the bay, just crumbling the foot or two of weak looking little surf, the sea a wintery grey beneath that fog filled sky.
I think that we’re in for a mixed old day, a little bit of sunshine eventually pushing through by midmorning, some more dampness arriving by this evening.

Harlyn (1*):  1 foot

Tiny little waves are lining up on the mid tide bank at Harlyn this morning, all glassy and sheeshy, whispering across the sand as they try to peel through the mist and mizzle of a more typical summer’s day.
Those waves are just about rideable but it’s the other side for surf again today.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 25th July 2020

Steady south westerly breezes will be helping to push a couple of feet of mixed up and slushy, weak little windswell our way.
We should manage to get in for a surf and it will probably turn out to be better than expected but it is going to be a choice between slopped and chopped but drop-inable Constantine or clean and glassy but tiny little Harlyn……

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

We can expect a bit of a weather change for this weekend, those settled conditions of the last few days being replaced by something a little breezier and maybe just a bit damper too.
South westerly winds will be blowing in three feet of fairly close-fetch windswell through Saturday, those waves perhaps not getting big enough to travel all the way around the headland and into Harlyn Bay where conditions would be cleaner and offshore but being okay enough to provide some bumpy summer fun surf at our main breaks.
Sunday’s surf conditions will be similar with maybe some slightly bigger waves tumbling through during midday along with some brighter weather too.
So, a mixed weekend but with plenty of fun surf and hopefully enough pleasant weather to make for a summery feel!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
