The wind is screeching into all the bays this morning, a cold and gnawing nor’ wester flinging big lumps of waves onto the headland. Streaks of rainbows are adding to the excitement as those waves bounce over the islands and explode ashore.
There’s no surf to ride but it’s a hell of a view!   

Harlyn (0*):  4 to 6 feet  

The headland at Harlyn is taking a battering as that vicious north westerly wind is hurling steely grey swells over the rocks. The beach is being pummelled by the thick and angry surf this morning but you might not want to go anywhere near it, she’s in a teasy old mood today!  

Surf Forecast for Saturday 26th September 2020  

The northerly wind should relax as we go through the day, still continuing to bluster and blow and chill but losing its anger as we go along. And the swell will weaken too, a couple of feet of weak and completely junked out surf being the best that we can expect at any beach on this coast today!   

Surf Conditions for the Weekend  

The forecasts for the weekend are changing quite quickly as the North Atlantic shakes and shimmies with those autumn blows.
A lot of those big and powerful, more wintery swells that we were expecting this weekend now look as though they’re going to pass by, only flinging a few leftover swells our way just to keep us on our toes.
As the swell drops away through Saturday, the wind now looks like it could just suddenly calm while backing Easterly, straight offshore at our favourite breaks!
Saturday afternoon could just bring some very enjoyable surf all along the coast.
Sunday might be more mixed with the three foot swell being crumbled a little through the afternoon by the sea breeze effect of a chilly but sunny Sunday.
But before and after should show some clean and snappy, fun little surf.
