Surf Report for Friday 4th January 2019

At 9.10 a.m:

Constantine (3*):  2 feet

It’s another more overcast than we would like it kind of a day but the air is still, the temperature is low but okay and there are some blue streaks amongst the greyness which might just promise better for later.
And there’s a couple of feet of very smooth and playful little surf peaking and tumbling across the sand too.
The tide still has a little way to drop out and so there might be a little more surf on the rise. In the meantime though it looks fun, especially if you have a longboard or a Fishy kind of funboard to play on!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat.

The sea is almost motionless at Harlyn again this morning, the air still, the sky mainly grey and the sea sparklingly smooth.
But flat.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  10:36  (1.7m)              High Tide:  16:31  (6.8m)

Surf Forecast for Saturday 5th January 2019

That same small, one to two foot swell is probably going to continue to tease us, peaking and peeling in the morning offshores as the tide hits the shallow bits, becoming just a little sloppier in the afternoon onshores and a little fatter and flatter when it hits the deep bits.
But there should be plenty of fun little waves to keep us all happy by the end of the day and we might even see some of that hidden sunshine eventually!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

The breeze should stay light for most of this weekend, swinging more onshore through Saturday, settling to the west south west for Sunday.
But hopefully we shouldn’t be bothered by more than a little crumble and a bit of a bump on the bigger waves that we can expect.
So we can look forward to more clean if still small surf to start out on Saturday morning, going a little crumblier and bumpier through the afternoon but with the signs of some more solid swell rolling in.
Sunday should start out with a pretty decent couple to three feet of only lightly slopped surf with bigger sets staring to show themselves through the morning.
Harlyn might just start to show some small be really clean surf by Sunday afternoon, at least allowing a choice of sizes and conditions.
It is looking like a fun weekend ahead with calm conditions and plenty of fun surf to play in!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
