Constantine (2*):  3 feet

A fresh blowing north westerly wind is whistling down the coast this morning and the sky remains pretty grey but it is dry so far, if a little cold in that wind!
So the surf is pretty much blown out with three feetish of weak looking and wishy washy stuff just tumbling over our breaks.
It’s not great but if it was summer we’d be all over it!

Harlyn (2*):  2 feet

A couple of feet of windblown little surf is washing ashore at Harlyn this morning, a fresh north westerly wind dropping the air temperature significantly.
I’m guessing that our best bet for a cleaner surf today is another road trip south but the swell might not be big enough.
Yet.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 7th March 2020

Steady south westerly winds are going to be pushing and shoving three to four feet of strengthening swell into our bays.
Harlyn is going to be our choice today with an expected three feet of offshore groomed, hollow little close-outs to play in with hopefully the odd little peeler or two to make it worthwhile!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

South westerly winds should be pushing a steadily building swell our way through Saturday, the air temperature feeling milder than it has been through the week and the sun brightening things up during the morning.
Harlyn should be the place to aim for with the promise of an enjoyable surf session in some clean and hollow three feet or so, very fun surf.
The weather might break down a bit as the tide pushes in through the afternoon but the surf should still be very worthwhile.
The wind is likely to have backed more westerly by Sunday morning as a much bigger swell pounds its way into our bays.
Even Harlyn is likely to be thick and lumpy with conditions deteriorating into the afternoon.
It could just be a good day for a wander around in search of some cleaner and more useable conditions. But wherever you decide to venture in, take it easy, those waves could be bigger and more powerful than they first look!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
