So far it’s all bright and cheery, the air calm and the sea as smooth as liquid silver this morning. But there is a wall of darkness just over there, that sun drenched milky blue sky above us stopping abruptly just a few miles out to sea.
Immaculate shaped little waves are peeling across the lowtide sandbars, curling and reeling across the shallows but shin to waist high at best.
So it is quite beautiful right now but make the most of it, we are being promised south westerly winds strengthening into the afternoon as they drive some duller and damper weather our way. 

Harlyn (0*):  Flat 

An infinity pool of perfectly flat smoothness is stretching to the horizon at Harlyn this morning with only immaculately  formed little micro waves peeling across the low tide sand.
The backdrop is dark, promising a whole lot of weather for later but it’s all bright and cheery above so far, the air absolutely still, a golden sunrise lifting the whole scene.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 14th July 2020 

A steady north westerly wind is going to be dropping temperatures today, maybe keeping the coastline mainly dry but not doing much for the foot or two of weak surf.   

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

The bright and settled conditions of the weekend will quickly be replaced by breezier, damper and chillier conditions, more akin to the Great British Summers that we have all come to know and love!
The mild and light south westerlies of Monday will soon change to a more northerly wind bringing cooler air down the coast for most of the rest of the week.
We can expect only small waves for most of the week and they are likely to be onshore slopped for most of the time too.
But the water temperature is steadily rising making those sloppy days more fun and we should see lots of drier and brighter gaps between the showers with more summer sunshine appearing as we go through midweek.
