Constantine (0*):  0 to 1 foot

Dampness is drifting on the breeze this morning, that lightest of breezes drifting up from the south on another grey sky start to a high summer’s day.
The sun will eventually creep out but it might not be until much later.
In the meantime the surf is almost flat, not quite but almost but the sea is as smooth as silk and the temperature is balmy. You’ll need a big, big board though!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The shimmering still lake of Harlyn is quicksilver smooth this morning, rippleless in the lightest of showers, the grey sky shadowless.
There are no waves, none at all.
And there’s no sign of any to come – not just yet.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 18th august 2020

A south westerly breeze will be pushing some fresher air our way today, clearing the sky while tumbling some small and very weak little waves our way.
So, bright skies and playful little waves should keep us all happy enough while we are waiting for something a little more testing.

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

A fun week of mixed weather and building surf should keep us entertained throughout this week as the weirdest summer holiday season ever slowly starts to come to a close.
Starting out with flat conditions, the breeze is likely to ease onshore and slowly strengthen through midweek, those weak and disorganised little windswells tumbling into each other before becoming more organised through the back half of the week.
And then we should see something more solid with waves getting into the ‘big’ category by week’s end!
Tuesday promises to be the most comfortable ‘beach’ day weather wise but overall, although we will see a mix of weather this week, it should be generally okay enough to hang out at the beach for most of the time.
So, wax the boards down, it’s all looking promising for some pumping waves (okay, dumping Harlyn then!) by the end of the week!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
