It really is a beautiful morning with the palest of milk blue skies stretching to infinity.
The breeze is light, the sun is bright and the birds are singing with delight
But the surf is, well, almost non-existent.
There’s a foot or so of weak and wishy washy looking little waves washing ashore but they’re not managing to break anywhere right now.
We should find some glassy and probably fun little waves to slide across as the tide moves over those shallow sandbars but there’s going to be not much more than that to enjoy today.
Still, it is a fabulous day weather wise!

It’s absolutely flat here this morning, the sea’s surface a little ruffled but otherwise smooth and blue and glinting and glistening.
No, there are no waves to ride here today and there’s only a little on the other side of the headland!
’Tis a beaut of a morning here this morning though!

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 22nd March 2016

The lightest of light northerly breezes is going to continue to just put a ruffle on the surface of some slightly bigger but still small waves today.
The waves should be feeling a little stronger with an increasing wave-period just getting into the teens.
We should have some fun gliders in the knee to hip high range, especially on the rising, afternoon tide.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Light onshore breezes, mainly drifting in from the north and north west are going to be the main change to start this coming week.
With only very small waves washing our way we are going to be lucky to find much more than knee to hip high and sloppy little waves to glide along on.
The weather should start the week fabulously with loads of bright sunshine and only light, light breezes. But make the most of it!
By midweek we should be seeing a more westerly wind direction which will push in some more swell, getting much bigger by the end of the week and, of course some breezier and damper weather for the weekend too!
But to start out we are going to have to content ourselves with a foot or two of lightly onshore ruffled little surf to ride in some beautiful early Spring sunshine!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
