It’s a lighter one this morning, the clouds thinner than they have been and the breeze lighter than it has been, the ground still wet from some heavy overnight rain.
And the surf is excellent!
Three to four feet of spilling glass waves are reeling off along the shore, those slow motion peaks unfurling majestically in the early morning stillness.
Get on it quickly though, if you can, all the forecasts are showing onshores by mid morning!

Small waves are lazily fumbling their way to the beach here this morning, all glassy and blue but a little crumbly.
The set waves seem to be a little bigger than they look and they are spilling off the Rock with a little more purpose but right now the other side of the headland is the place to go, the surf is pumping over there!

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 5th April 2016

The wind is forecast to be north westerly all day today and that is onshore all along this coast. But that wind should stay light, maybe strengthening a little through midday as the sea breezes kick in but staying light for the morning and evening. We should be enjoying a light and bright day though, maybe a little chilly in that breeze but otherwise very pleasant.
And with a fairly solid little three foot swell rolling our way we should be able to find some pleasant enough, if a little crumbly but fun surf to ride, early morning and late evening offering the cleanest and maybe better than expected conditions.
And that sunshine should cheer us all up again too!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

The winds look as though they are going to settle into that annoying north westerly pattern throughout this coming week again, producing onshore waves at all of our preferred surf breaks.  Plenty of swell is going to be washing our way, expected to be in the three to four or five feet range for most of the time but with that gusting onshore wind ruining the quality of those waves.  Early morning and late evening are going to be the best times to try and find some cleaner conditions, or of course there’s the drive over to the far coast!  Again.  Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
