Another massive blue and cloudless sky is covering us again this morning, temperatures in the high teens already, the superlight breeze almost non-existent and from the north east.
And a foot or two of glassy faced but quite close together little waves are congregating off the end of the Point, the occasional much bigger set mowing through the lineup.
It’s another fabulous day to grab a longboard and glide your way to some fun-in-the-sun!

The sun is streaking down the valley to light up this stretch of golden sand and blue sea again this morning, the early morning light reflecting off that sparkling ocean surface.
The very occasional wrap around swell is crashing onto the hardened sand of a dropping tide , a foot or less of close-out wash every ten minutes or more.
No, it’s still not a place to lure you to surf this morning but once again, it looks like a very pleasurable place to send a little cosy time.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 10th July 2018

We might just see some haze and low cloud this morning but only for a short while, an hour or two maybe before it clears up again.
And the surf will continue to be borderline, a foot or so of cleaner surf in the morning, those sea breezes kicking in onshore throughout mid-afternoon.
But we should be able to enjoy a pleasant longboard glide with just a little searching about and right timing.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Light, light breezes and wide open sunlit skies will continue to cheer us well into this week, those high temperatures continuing while the gardeners and farmers start to fret for more rain soon.
We might just see a shower or two during midweek but that’s not guaranteed either!
And the surf looks like it is going to continue to be borderline rideable, the middle of the week showing something just a bit bigger but only for a day or two.
But otherwise it looks like another fine and sunny, warm week ahead of us with just enough small but clean and very organised surf to make it worthwhile!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
