Constantine (2*):  2 to 3 feet

Ah, the murk and drizzle and grey and wet have returned to start the week but the breeze is light and the mizzle is fine and there’s a line of bright on that horizon. It should all cheer up before we know it and in the meantime it is quite a cosy and snuggly dullness.
A couple to three feet of crumbly and lazy looking waves are tumbling onto the high tide shore dump, the westerly breeze just strong enough to put that bump on it all.
It might sharpen up as the tide empties out but in the meantime it still looks like it fun. Give it a couple of hours and it could just be brighter, lighter, crisper and funner!

Harlyn (0*):  0 to 1 foot

It’s all but flat around here this morning.
A foot or just occasionally a bit more than a foot of breeze crumbled little waves are spilling onto the high tide sand, all tempting and teasing but weak and tiny too.
No, we are going to have to wait another day or two before Harlyn gets its shine on!
In the meantime, the other side looks like fun.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 10th October 2017

South westerly winds are likely to settle into place, pushing a steadily building swell our way.
Staring out at a couple of feet or so at our main breaks first thing, the swell should double in size by the evening, hopefully allowing small but clean Harlyn to kick in before dark.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

West going south westerly winds should settle in this week, supporting some well travelled swells that are likely to be swinging into our bays from way up north.
Starting out quite small through Monday, increasing in size gradually through Tuesday and with some chunky swells rolling our way into Wednesday, that thick, rolling swell should waken Harlyn up by midweek.
Yep, a week of clean and fun three to four feet plus Harlyn barrels is waiting to be played in this week, the weather staying kind for most of the week too!
I’m away for a while next week, so no surf report for ten days or so!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
