Surf Forecast for Tuesday 27th July 2021

Brisk north westerly breezes will chill the air temperature today, the clear summer sunshine sharply brightening a rising swell.
We could be enjoying a half decent three feet and bigger of lumpy and bumpy, fairly close together little swell today. It’s unlikely to be great but hey ho, we’ll take what we can get during high summer!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Onshore breezes are going to be replacing those sweltering temperatures of last week with something a little cooler, the north westerly breezes of the start of the week feeling distinctly chilly in comparison.
But the sun should continue to shine and the farmers and gardeners are likely to be disappointed by the lack of much rain, the odd shower or two keeping drought fears away for now.
We should also see some waves starting tumble our way with close-together and fairly sloppy little swells being blown in by those breezes.
The wind is likely to stay in the west to north west quadrant – onshore at all of our breaks locally. But we might even see Harlyn staying to show some little waves by midweek as the wind settles westerly, not quite clean for Harlyn but better than those nor’ westerlies.
So, we should be able to loosen those rusty paddling muscles and sharpen up those lazy reflexes with a couple of sloppy but snappy sessions in waves big enough to allow us to actually drop down!
It’s likely to be a sloppy swell of mediocre shape and little power but it’ll do for high summer!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
