Constantine (2*):  6 to 8 feet

It’s a mild and calm start to this pre-Christmas Saturday, the breeze superlight but frustratingly slipping in onshore, from the north west.
The swell has dropped but is still significant, still in the six feet plus range, still growling and bowling as it prowls the coastline.
It is so frustrating that the wind isn’t playing ball just yet but it’s worth keeping your eye on it, we only need a few degrees of change to allow a massive improvement to the conditions.
There should be some good surf to be had anyway with a little judgement in time and place but it would be so much better if that wind would just shift a little!

Harlyn (2*):  3 to 4 feet.

Three to four feet of distracted looking surf is bumping its way into the bay riding in with a very light north nor’ westerly breeze.
We need that wind to veer just a few degrees offshore for it to be as good as we would like it to be and that could happen later on, maybe not until this afternoon though.
In the mean time there are some bumpy ones to play in!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 18th December 2016

We should be in for a very pleasant Sunday of settled and calm conditions, some watery, winter sunshine and some beautifully shaped three to four feet of curling surf.
Yep, it could be a very fine day to kick back at the beach and enjoy some great surf!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

It is all looking very good indeed for an action packed weekend of screaming surf and gentle weather as high pressure snuggles comfortably over us, that writhing and screaming low pressure angrily pacing the north atlantic, all the while spinning waves all that way down to curl across our shores.
Big Friday’s epicness is likely to quickly dissipate, leaving a more rippable and less intense four to five foot swell, slowly easing down to three to four feet by Sunday.
The breezes are set light and offshore for the entire weekend while that bright, sharp winter sunshine should cheer us all weekend long!
Christmas is coming early for a few as the schools shut down and the bars and restaurants fire up!
The shop is open all weekend and we have loads of great last-minute present offers, so why not drop in on us!
Have a fabulous weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
