Constantine (1*):  1 to 2 feet

A mild but damp, steady breeze is bringing a sky full of mizzle and murk into the bay this morning, making for a silent and peaceful if maybe a little gloomy atmosphere.
That mizzle is likely to linger around for most of the morning, making the foot or two of mixed and messy surf look even less inviting.
But the water is warm enough at 16 to 17 deg C and there should be a glimpse of sunshine by lunchtime even if only for a moment.
And we all know that you always feel better after going in, whatever the conditions!

Harlyn (0*):  0 to 1 foot

Tiny waves are lazily washing into the bay amongst the mizzle and drizzle at Harlyn this morning, a steady westerly breeze just wobbling and shifting those six inch wave lines as they trickle across the sand.
There’s not much to surf here this morning but if you have a huge board and Harlyn is your only option then you might just have some fun!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 19th July 2020

After another very slow start we might just be enjoying some fine weather again today, with a north westerly breeze just keeping a little nip in the air.
The surf will continue to be only small but the breeze might just shift more to the north east as we go along, adding some much needed shape to those little waves.
It could just eventually end up being a little bundle of fun-in-the-sun today!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Starting out breezy, this weekend should soon quieten down, some low cloud along with plenty of murk and mizzle maybe descending on us through Saturday afternoon and evening.
The surf is likely to be a mixed up and messy foot or two again, that bouncy and unpredictable stuff that is not necessarily attractive but allows you to feel a little better afterwards – if you make the effort to get in that is!
Sunday should be a cheerier day with loads of sunshine but that annoying northerly wind. That wind could twitch a little to the north east though, allowing those small waves to clean up and break with at least a little shape, beckoning the longboarders in for a glide.
So, a mixed weekend but at least providing some surf and a little weather too.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
