A bright and hazy, beautiful morning is spreading across the countryside, the air still, the sky a hazed blue, that naturally filtered sunlight glinting and glistening off the faces of two foot waves as they lazily slide ashore.
It is a fabulous start to the day, a couple of feet of smoothly groomed swell gliding into the bay and producing the occasional three foot wall to slide across.
The air is still, the birdsong loud and the waves are smallish but prettily shaped.
Have a great day!

A few really small waves are just managing to find their way around the headland and into the bay here this morning, a foot or so of glassy little surf collapsing as it hits the shallows.
Here is not the place to go for a surf today, the other side is the fun place to be but as always it has its own beauty and if you fancy a paddle then it would be a wonderful place to launch.

Surf Forecast for Sunday 20th September 2015

A south westerly breeze is likely to support the small swell that continues to roll or way in today’s sunshine.
And we should see s little increase in waves size as today goes on, the evening glass off maybe providing some fun waves for us all.
A decent day of sliding three foot waves in the sun awaits!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

That little area of low pressure that you can see on the pressure chart above has been shuffling up the north eastern side of the atlantic and so slingshotting a little bit of swell our way for the weekend!
And looking at that same chart, it does look like a small area of high pressure should stall over us during the weekend too.
So, put all that together and you have to think that things are looking promising for a pleasant enough and quite surfy weekend!
A couple to three feet and glassy and sunny through Saturday, followed by a decent three feet maybe offshore and sunny Sunday!
And about time too!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
