Surf Report for Saturday 21st April 2018

At 6.40 a.m:

Constantine (3*):  3 feet

Ah, that annoying mist and fog has finally lifted, allowing us to join the rest of the country in wallowing in that early summer sunshine.
But there is still a shadow of something out at sea, so enjoy what we have while it’s here – it might not last that long!
In the meantime though, the air is still the sun is shining, the sky is blue, the sea is glassy and the surf continues to pump through!
It is smaller than it has been but there’s a decent three foot plus of glassy smooth waves curling across the usual breaks.
Get on it quick though!

Harlyn (2*):  2 feet

Real small but delicately shaped little waves are shimmying into the bay here this morning, glassy smooth gliders shuffling onto the sand.
Those favourite surf breaks on the other side of the headland have all the surf today but if you have to then Harlyn will have some small trimmers to play in if you have the patience.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  16:13  (1.5m)              High Tide:  09:52  (6.6m)

Surf Forecast for Sunday 22nd April 2018

A gusting south westerly wind should be pushing some mixed weather our way but as well as keeping the surf alive as well.
Three fete plus of crumbly and choppy surf is likely to be hitting our main breaks with a small couple of fete managing to get round to Harlyn.
So it’s going to be one pot those decision days, bigger but bumpier Constantine versus smaller but neater, offshore Harlyn.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

This weekend is promising to be a pleasantly bright and cheerful, surf filled one with more than a hint of Spring about it.
Saturday should bring a pleasant two to three feet of offshore breeze shaped surf to our bays with plenty of sunshine glinting off those curling waves.
The wind is probably going to strengthen through Sunday, a gusting south westerly, not too strong but enough to bump and ruffle and crumble the surf at our preferred breaks. And it might be a bit small for Harlyn, although it will be squeaky clean around there. The sunshine should help everything to look that little bit better again too!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
