Constantine (1*):  1 to 2 feet

A steady sou’ wester is blowing some grey and small, tired looking surf into the bay beneath a cloud heavy, leaden sky this morning, the beach seemingly sighing as that wind brushes by.
It could be this evening before things brighten, this evening’s tide showing a little more surf than the foot or two of dribble that’s out there right now.
Grab a longboard or a foamy if you want to get a ride this morning but you’re going to need just a little more patience yet if you’re looking for some better waves to ride!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The sea is as smooth as silk at Harlyn this morning, the south westerly wind gusting offshore here, that pale turquoise sea calm to the horizon.
There’s no surf to ride and the only SUP paddling is going to be a wind assisted one way ticket.
It is till wonderfully beautiful here today though!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 26th July 2020

That steady blowing west sou’ westerly wind will eventually produce some waves today but of course they are going to be fairly weak and sloppy things, maybe not getting big enough to swing around and into those more wind protected spots.
So it’s probably going to be a day of two to three feet onshore chopped Constantine side versus a foot or so of clean and sharp little waves at Harlyn.
Still, it is nice to have a choice, isn’t it?

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

We can expect a bit of a weather change for this weekend, those settled conditions of the last few days being replaced by something a little breezier and maybe just a bit damper too.
South westerly winds will be blowing in three feet of fairly close-fetch windswell through Saturday, those waves perhaps not getting big enough to travel all the way around the headland and into Harlyn Bay where conditions would be cleaner and offshore but being okay enough to provide some bumpy summer fun surf at our main breaks.
Sunday’s surf conditions will be similar with maybe some slightly bigger waves tumbling through during midday along with some brighter weather too.
So, a mixed weekend but with plenty of fun surf and hopefully enough pleasant weather to make for a summery feel!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
