Constantine (1*):  4 to 5 feet

Heavy rain is falling across the bays this morning as a deep weather front moves across the country, the breeze light right now but with a blustery southerly promised for later.
So the surf is a mess here again with four to five feet of mixed up and messed junk surf bouncing through the murk.
Harlyn is going to be the place again today!

Harlyn (3*):  3 feet

The rain is sweeping across Harlyn Bay this morning, a grey torrent of blurry wetness meeting three feet or so of curling, equally grey and equally blurry waves.
It has that feeling of a classic wet winter’s day of Harlyn surf today, even though the water is positively balmy!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 3rd October 2021

Westerly winds are going to make a mess of the already choppy five foot swells as they continue to bounce onto our coast.
Harlyn is our best option for surfing today and even there is likely to be a little bumpy and windswept today. But it should still be fun and with the water temperatures being at their peak it certainly won’t be a chore to paddle out for an hour or two!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A windy weekend is awaiting our pleasure this weekend, but there might just be a few opportunities to enjoy some testing surf, especially through Saturday early afternoon.
The wind will be gusting hard from the south for most of Saturday but is likely to twitch to the south east through lunchtime. That should hollow and clean the windblown surf at our main breaks but Harlyn is probably going to continue to be our surf spot of the weekend. The wind is likely to be offshore there pretty much all day long and the swell should be big enough to sling three fete and more of thick and crunchy waves into the bay.
Sunday could be a little disappointing with the wind backing first westerly then more north westerly, onshore everywhere.
But the swell should be big and chunky by then allowing for some testing surf at breaks like Hralyn, especially in the morning.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
