Constantine (0*):  5 to 6 feet.

Gusting squalls are blasting across the bay this morning, a fresh blowing sou’ wester pushing some heavy downpours our way but moving them through quickly too. And in between there are some bright and cheery spaces in the sky – so far!
The surf is windswept and messy with four to five to six feet of chopped up and messed out waves trying to find their way to the beach.
Harlyn could be good in this wind though!

Harlyn (3*):  3 feet and building.

The wind is gusting from the south west this morning, straight offshore here. And it’s trimming and sculpting three feet and bigger of curling and smooth faced, shiny waves.
There are a few bigger ones curling onto the Rock allowing the early risers to get a few quick in-and-outs under those pitching lips.
It looks like a fun Harlyn day awaits today, filled to the brim with hollow waves and crunchy barrels!
And it could almost double in size by this evening too!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 5th March 2017

Hard blowing westerly going north westerly winds are going to be blasting ashore all day long today, completely blowing away any chance of rideable surf on this coast.
There should be plenty of size but just a blown out mess.
The South Coast is our best (only) option today!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Our best chance of some cleanish surf this weekend is probably going to be first thing on Saturday morning when light southerly winds are forecast, along with a still fairly solid four feet plus of swell.
But the wind will soon mess things up, a strengthening north westerly blowing through by mid-afternoon, messing up the surf conditions all along the coast.
And the north westerly wind will be driving us over to the far coast in search of clean waves on Sunday, this coast will be big but choppy and sloppy everywhere.
So, a blown and messy weekend but with a little quality surf tucked away in ether for the keen, if you know when and where to look!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
