Constantine (2*):  3 to 4 feet

A freezing northerly wind is screeching across the bay this morning, putting that wintery hue on the sea, that dark and deep blue of coldness.
High tide is showing two or three feet of fairly raggedy but almost lined up, frothy and dumpy little peaks, all hesitant and undecided but probably fun to surf!
Especially now that the sky is brightening and cheering up.
If you can tuck away out of the wind, you could be in for a very pleasant day of it or you can just enjoy the blustery sunshine of a Bank Holiday weekend!

Harlyn (0*):  2 feet

That northerly wind is gnawing its way into Harlyn, chilling anything in its way, the air temperature being many degrees lower in the wind than in any sun heated shelter that you can find.
And so the couple of feet of deep blue surf that is washing into the bay is all chopped and slopped, shapeless and wishy washy.
It is still managing to be. Avery pleasant place to spend some time though, especially on a holiday weekend!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 5th May 2019

Another sunny but chilly day should be waiting, the wind having eased to barely a breeze, still from the north, still with that arctic chill to it but much, much lighter than Saturday.
Throw in a couple to three feet of mixed up swell and we should be enjoying a very pleasant day of fun-in-the-sun surf!

Surf Conditions for the Bank Holiday Weekend

Small but clean and smart, very glideable surf should keep us happily occupied throughout this Holiday Weekend.
The air temperature might feel a little chilly but there should be plenty of clear skies for most of Saturday and Sunday with only some light cloud by Monday.
The breeze is set light and mainly offshore for most of the weekend, going a little side or onshore through the afternoons as the sea breeze effect kicks in.
So it does look like a very promising weekend of gliding across some real fun little waves beneath some mainly clear skies!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
