Constantine (1*):  0 to 1 foot

The air is still and calm on this lazy, slo-start kind of a Saturday, that early morning drift of light cloud gradually slipping southwards on the lightest of northerly breezes.
Tiny waves are gliding quietly into the bay as well, just about, maybe rideable, an occasional peak tempting and teasing in the middle, all glassy and peeling but very, very small.
It’s promising to be one of those more relaxed and mellow summer weekends, one for hanging out and chilling with friends maybe while sharing the occasional group logging session.
Have a good ‘un!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The thin cloud is gradually evaporating in the early morning sunshine at Harlyn as a lone fisherman hauls his kayak onto the smooth and calm surface of the sea, tiny ripples of glass barely rocking his light craft.
There’s no surf at Harlyn this morning but, yet again, it is a beautiful place to just hang for a while and absorb some calm.

Surf Forecast for Sunday 7th July 2019

We can expect more superlight breezes today, gradually veering more westerly than previously, the lightest of onshore ruffling the sea’s surface. But we should see some slightly bigger waves today, maybe knee high with (hopefully) hip high sets.
But you know it’s summer when we’re getting excited about knee to hip high, onshore breeze ruffled surf!
Anyway, there should be something to ride on, even if you do have to scurry around in an effort to find a board floaty enough to surf!

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

A settled and very summery weekend is waiting, with loads of sunshine and clear skies and only light breezes.
But you’re going to need a big, big surfboard, or a at least a very floaty surfboard if you want to catch any of those little waves that are likely to be gliding our way.
Knee to waist high surf is the best that we can hope for this weekend but at least the weather should be warm and the water is warming up too (I’ve been wearing only a shorty all this week!).
So, long halcyon summer days and lazy, warm evenings are waiting this weekend – don’t forget the sunscreen!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
