Constantine (0*):  Flat

The breeze is still fresh this morning, a gusting easterly wind blowing straight offshore in the bright gloom and silver murk of a damp and chilly start to the day.
The surf is almost flat, that fresh offshore pushing back those weak little waves. One or two teasing lines of peeling, shin ticklers are peeling along the sand but there is a long wait in between.
It is another fabulously pretty morning in the bay but not the picture postcard type, it’s more of a calmly tranquil, damp but cosy kind of day down here today!

Harlyn (1*):  1 foot

The easterly wind is blowing a few little lines of chop in here this morning, producing maybe a foot or so of sloppy little waves to scrabble after if you’re keen enough!
It’s a damp and overcast one here this morning but there is still that silver light penetrating and cheering up the gloom.
It should brighten up later but as soon as that wind calms the waves will disappear completely!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 7th May 2017

We can expect some tiny but rideable surf today with light offshore breezes and some much brighter weather too.
Those little waves should build to something more fun as the day rolls along, the afternoon tide pushing a little extra but the sea breeze effect will probably influence that too.
Anyway, it should end up being a fun day of surfing again!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A weekend of calm and settled conditions is likely to start out with only tiny waves, if any, stumbling through on Saturday morning, that clean offshore wind easing in strength as we go along but the swell gradually disappearing too.
A bit more swell should be showing again by Sunday, a foot or two of that fairly close together stuff but clean enough in the light northerly breeze, the afternoon sunshine coaxing you in, even in the small conditions.
And then the week will start afresh with two to three feet of pleasant swell, immaculately shaped by a light offshore breeze and more sunshine.
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
