Constantine (2*):  2 feet

It’s a wet ‘n windy one this morning with a brisk north north easterly wind bustling down the coast bringing chilly air conditions to that stinging rain.
So that wind is just offshore, more side than off really but it is holding up the foot or two of uneven and bumpy surf until the last minute, at the same time keeping those little left-handers wide open.
Yes, it is small but it is rideable too and kind of looks like fun.
But you might have to keep on reminding yourself that the water is (relatively) really warm too!

If the wind wasn’t screeching into the beach and bundling lumps of grey water ahead of it this place would be flat today but that wind is pushing real small wind slop into the bay, making it fun for a lone kitesurfer having an early morning one.
But you wouldn’t want to go surfing here, not this morning.

Surf Forecast for Sunday 7th October 2018

Much lighter breezes along with some chilly but clear sunshine arguing to tease that tiny surf today.
The breeze will be lighter but still onshore, gradually shifting from the north west in the morning, moving westerly through midday to arrive at a calm south westerly by the evening.
So a couple of feet of lightly bumped and lazy little surf will probably attract us in in that bright autumn sunshine today!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

The week should gently bow out on Friday with a quiet, more summery day on offer. Small waves and bright sunshine with a light offshore breeze should cheer us all up as a foot or two of pretty little waves glide and twinkle their way ashore.
By Saturday a cold wind will be blowing down the coast, a blustery north north easterly just to keep us on our toes, maybe flattening the already small surf or maybe allowing some one to two footers to push their way in against it.
By Sunday the breeze should have lightened and the sun might have returned, that same tiny swell maybe just managing to throw some more one to two foot surf our way.
And that should lead us into a pleasant week filled with more small but pretty surf along with plenty of bright weather to enjoy!
Have a great weekend wherever you are, and whatever you’re doing!
