Constantine (1*):  3 feet

Three feet of mixed up and sloppy surf is crawling through the mist and mizzle of a dreary Saturday morning, a steady west sou’ westerly breeze filled with dampness.
And yet it is still a more than pleasant place to be even though it’s not exactly warm or dry or bright.
This afternoon should bring something brighter, drier and better.

Harlyn (2*):  2 feet

A foot or two of snappy little surf is jumping onto the sand at Harlyn as the tide drops back to low this morning, the breeze trying to improve the wave shape, the grey and damp sky trying to disappoint but not quite managing it.
The incoming tide should bring better and maybe brighter through midday.

Today’s Tide Times:

Surf Forecast for Sunday 8th March 2020

The forecast is suddenly looking a little better for the surf at Harlyn today.
The wind might just hold those few degrees to the south from west, making for hollower and more shapelier waves.
With a bigger swell building into the morning, there could be some boomers crashing through at the ‘Lyn!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

South westerly winds should be pushing a steadily building swell our way through Saturday, the air temperature feeling milder than it has been through the week and the sun brightening things up during the morning.
Harlyn should be the place to aim for with the promise of an enjoyable surf session in some clean and hollow three feet or so, very fun surf.
The weather might break down a bit as the tide pushes in through the afternoon but the surf should still be very worthwhile.
The wind is likely to have backed more westerly by Sunday morning as a much bigger swell pounds its way into our bays.
Even Harlyn is likely to be thick and lumpy with conditions deteriorating into the afternoon.
It could just be a good day for a wander around in search of some cleaner and more useable conditions. But wherever you decide to venture in, take it easy, those waves could be bigger and more powerful than they first look!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
